Morning 7o clock is first bus from Vadodara to reach at 9.30 to KEVADIYA. Found a Volvo bus to Surat meanwhile at 7.15 at KEVADIYA. 8 o clock last bus rajpipla-ambaji bus to return back to Vadodara. Again 10rs shared auto to KEVADIYA bus stand from sou ticket centre. But couldn't see details of SVP on ground level. So I had the leverage and got 10min time on top and probably last person to go up. There were few people who had come to take ticket on site were not being allowed inside past 5 pm exact. since I had online ticket, I was allowed inside and asked to rush to visit the chest level of SVP. Direct buses to KEVADIYA take a diversion after dabhoi avoiding rajpipla and reach destination whereas the bus I took had a different route.but more or less the distance is same. While driving out of bus stand in Vadodara the driver pointed us to 2 KEVADIYA buses parked without taking their turn to pick passengers. There was one another last bus scheduled after this. Took a shared transport 10rs per head to SOU ticket centre. Took 2hr 45 min and 49rs to get down across the river of statue of unity. (Special rush of NCC cadets, otherwise informed that bus will be fairly empty). Ultimately a bus on its way to Gora-surpan via rajpipla turned out at 2 to have double the people waiting to get into it. I decided instead of waiting for long, I will take bus to whatever distance I would get. Every bus board were written in gujrati and was trying to figure out what was written on each. Information kiosk directed us to go to platform 20 and there will be a bus at 2 pm directly to KEVADIYA (place where the ticket counter and parking area is located. it turned out things were so not happening with the decision of taking public transport. Reached Vadodara Bus stand at 12.45 hoping to reach 3.30 and visit everything. I found nothing much about public transport or group tours to statue of unit online.
